PROGRAM 1 - A Morning with Dr. Joseph Henderson and Dr. Thomas Kirsch.     Format - Seminar.   Dr. Henderson and Dr. Kirsch discuss the "paths they walked" to become Jungian Analysts. Dr. Henderson then answers questions presented by candidates from the C.G. Jung Institute of the Pacific Northwest relating to the Archetype of Initiation and the concepts he presented in the book he cowrote with Maud Oakes, The Wisdom of the Serpent.  Stock #202.  81 minutes.  $50.00.

PROGRAM 2 - An Afternoon with Dr. Joseph Henderson and Dr. Thomas Kirsch.     Format - Seminar.  In this video seminar Dr. Joseph Henderson, an international recognized authority on initiation, answers questions relating to C.G. Jung's painting, "The Light at the Core of the Darkness," which is the cover art from his book The Wisdom of the Serpent.  This image sparks a lively discussion covering important questions relating to Jungian psychology. The conversation includes thoughts on books such as The Shaman From Elko and Dr. Henderson's Cultural Attitudes in Psychological Perspective. PROGRAM 3 – The Power of Symbolic Images.    Format – Seminar.  Dr. Henderson defines "Archetype," "Initiation," "Self," and differentiates "Symbols" and signs.  He also discriminates between Initiation for cultural adaptation and inner world spiritual growth.  Dr. Jaqua discusses the constant presence of the principle of duality and the Archetype of Oneness, the bringing together of opposites through Symbols.  Dr. Henderson and Dr. Selma Hyman discuss the importance of dreams in the initiation process of individuation.  Dr. Hyman presents several dreams related to her by cancer patients.  Dr. Henderson discusses the dreams and the two Jungian Analyst/M.D.s agree upon the need for the medical profession to add the psychological perspective.  Dr. Milton Hyman discusses a human as a psycho-physical organism (body-psyche unity).  He raises questions regarding the relationship between the immortality of DNA and Jung’s concept of The Archetypal Unconscious.  Dr. Henderson offers his insights regarding this question.  Stock #203.   69 minutes.  $50.00. 

PROGRAM 4 The Transcendent Experience.    Format – Seminar. Dr. Henderson and Joell Hyman, M.A. – Anthropology, M.A. – Psychology & Advanced Candidate CGJIPNW, explore the differences between the Hero’s Journey and the Initiation Process. Dr. Henderson identifies the different elements of the Hero’s Journey and its importance in the development of consciousness. He presents a diagram of the six primary Archetypal symbols, which are experienced during the initiation process of the mature psyche. Dr. Henderson answers questions about the Transcendent Function and unifying symbols.
